Q2 Starts Now: Let’s Simplify, Focus, and Win

“The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.”
– Bruce Lee

Hi Reader,

Ever feel like the start of a new quarter is a bit like standing at the bottom of a mountain, staring up at all the things you could do?

I get it.

I’ve been there myself—trying to launch three new ideas, rework a funnel, revamp an email sequence, and post to five platforms… all at once.

Spoiler alert: it didn’t work. 😅

But then I worked with a coach who asked me a question that changed everything:

“What’s the one thing that actually moved the needle last quarter?”

It stopped me in my tracks. Because I realised I was spending too much time chasing shiny objects instead of doubling down on what was already working.

So this quarter, I want to encourage you to simplify.

Let’s make Q2 the quarter of less, but better.

💡 3 Steps to Set a Focused Strategy for Q2

1. Review Your Data

Take a look at your analytics—emails, content, sales, and conversations.

What got the best engagement? What brought in leads? Which offer converted?

Example: If your weekly newsletter had high open rates and replies, that’s a clue. Keep that momentum going.

2. Set ONE Clear Objective for Q2

Forget 20 goals—pick one.

That could be:

• Generate 10 new clients
• Build your email list to 1,000 subscribers
• Launch your signature program

Keep it specific, measurable, and time-bound. This gives your content, offers, and marketing a clear direction.

3. Create a “One Page Q2 Plan”

Use a simple template or whiteboard layout.

Include:

• Your Q2 Goal
• Your Core Offer
• Your Lead Magnet
• Weekly content plan
• Promotion dates

This isn’t about perfection—it’s about clarity and execution.

🛠 Pro Tip:

Focus is the new hustle.

When you simplify your strategy, you create space for consistency, creativity, and real momentum.

ANDREW WALLIS YOUR FITNESS BUSINESS GUIDE Hey Reader, Let’s talk about the real reason most trainers struggle with content: It’s not lack of ideas. It’s not the algorithm. It’s this: 👉 No system. They post when they feel inspired…Then disappear for 3 weeks. Then panic-post an offer - and wonder why nobody bites. Sound familiar? Here’s the fix: Use the 1–1–1 Content System Just stick to this rhythm each week: 1️⃣ 1 Cold Post → Grab attention • Educate • Entertain • Tell your story 2️⃣ 1 Warm...

“The difference between a contact and a contract is the follow-up.” — Unknown. "I followed up once… and then never heard back." Sound familiar? You're not alone. One of the most common struggles I hear from fitness professionals is that leads go cold after the first message. And often, they chalk it up to a “bad lead.” But here’s the truth: Most of your clients won’t say yes the first time you reach out. Or even the second. In fact, some of my best, most committed clients came in after 4,...

ANDREW WALLIS YOUR FITNESS BUSINESS GUIDE Hey Reader, Want to know the most common content mistake I see fitness coaches make? They skip the warm stage entirely. They go from: 💬 “Hi, I’m a coach” 👉 straight to💥 “Buy my program!” That’s like proposing on the first date. 🚩 And it’s why your DMs go quiet after you post an offer. Warm audience content is where the trust is built. Here’s how to think about it: Cold = “Who’s this?” Warm = “Hmm, interesting…” Hot = “I want in!” If you don’t nurture...
