Stop overthinking your niche—do this instead

Let’s be real…

Most fitness coaches spend way too long trying to figure out their niche.

They journal.

They brainstorm.

They “meditate on it.”

And months later? Still stuck.

But here’s the truth:

You don’t need to find your niche.

You just need to choose it.

The fastest way to build momentum is to make a clear decision—based on what’s already working.

Try this 3-question shortcut:

If you’re feeling unsure, answer these:

1️⃣ Who do you love working with?
The people who energize you—not drain you.


2️⃣ Who gets great results from your process?
Look at past clients. Who saw the biggest transformation?


3️⃣ Who can afford and values your service?
Not everyone’s your buyer. That’s okay.

Where those 3 answers overlap?

That’s your niche. (Or at least, your starting point.)

Don’t wait until it’s “perfect.” Clarity comes from doing.

Example:

Let’s say you're a PT and you’ve helped all kinds of people—athletes, mums, weight loss clients, over 40s.

But…

  • You love working with women in their 50s
  • They show up, do the work, and get results
  • And they’ve got the time + budget to commit

That’s your signal. Don’t ignore it.
